Will you help me?

I have 50 photos and over the next 2 months I can submit a total of 6 of them into our local camera club photo contest for points totalled at the end of the year for Camera Club awards etc. Since I joined late in the year I won't have many points but would love to do the best I can. I value your input.

I don't want you to tell me which ones you think the judge will rate the highest as they look for other things than most of us do. I want you to tell me your 3 favorites out of each set of 10 I post over the next few days as I attempt to narrow down my entries. If you only like one or two in particular that is fine also.

In the comment section you could just leave the number(s) of your favorite photo.

If you want to say more about why you like a certain photo or even something in a photo you don't like then feel free.

Here is a link to 10 numbered photos. Thanks to all of you who take the time to look and give some feedback.

Well, here goes, in this order I liked #5 the best...love those talons and the look of determination...this one has WOW to me. I also like #2 and #1 because they are both Crisp and are well centered and the wing tips are so interesting. That's it for todays selection...But it was not easy to choose!!!! Just wanted you to know that!

I vote for #10, face and beak in focus, you got both eyes, very hard to do and you fill the frame. I, also, like the tail.

Next, I like #1, the sky is beautiful, leading edge of wings is so crisp, head and beak in focus.

I like #5, if only his feet and beak were in focus. Don't you hate when that happens, fabulous picture, except for one detail. This is my personal favorite as far as subject matter goes.

Is this what you want us to do?? Let us know so we can change if you want something different.

Deb and Iris, yes I love both of your comments and inputs. It is very helpful for me to take a look through somoene else's eyes and what pops out at them and why.

I will let everyone know which 3 I end up entering for March and which 3 for April.

Only about 50 more photos to look at. LOL.

Thanks again
Glo

Thanks MeMa Jo I have a check mark by your photo choice now.

I wrote an explanation of why my choices were 5, 9 and 10, but this stupid *&#*&% site STILL refuses to recognize my password. And in trying to get it to work, I lost all my message. So this is all for now. #5. #9 and #10

okay, going to try again. I like #5 because of the extended talons, the way the water gives outline to the wings, and the feeling of "action" portrayed.
I like #9 because it shows the beautiful detail of the wing and tail feathers, the intensity of the eye, and the ability to stand on one leg while keeping a fish secure in the talons of the other leg.
I like #10 for the grace and majesty of an eagle riding the wind. The crisp simplicity of the photo makes it more powerful.

Okay Glo,
Here Goes:
#2 - the Eagle dodging the big and little branches
#5- the sharp, extended talons, the spread of the white tail feathers, and the look of determination, as Iris said
#10 Perfect symmetry...

This wasn't easy, but it sure was enjoyable! xoxo ☺ Magpie

#10 is my favorite
forgot to add that...

but I really liked the absolute perfect color contrast of the juvenile and the blue blue sky!

It's very hard to pick just 3 from the great shots! My choices are 4, 5, and 8. I really can't explain why except that those are the ones I was drawn to at first. Good luck!
